The difference between an iron and a magnet is ‘orientation’. In iron, all the elements are distributed in random fashion whereas same iron will work as a magnet when all the constituent elements are oriented in a proper direction.

In Everest Education Society’s Group of Institution’s College of Engineering & Technology, Aurangabad, we have identified “orientation towards successful career” as a major challenge to be addressed in young professionals. Crafting a successful engineering career is not only responsibility of university but also a contribution towards the next generation where the students are empowered and enabled to discover themselves, explore options, make decisions, and take actions thereby becoming responsible citizens of India.

What is Career and Counselling Cell?

The cell will be involved in assisting training and placement activities, providing guidance for higher education and competitive exams, creating platform for budding entrepreneurs, bringing awareness about various career options through counselling and maintaining a very good alumni network.

• Maintaining job Performa at cell for making suitable job references.
• Aims to establish contact with companies/organizations to invite them for campus recruitment.
• Provide industrial relevant training matching the dynamic market job requirements for a successful professional career.
• To connect with industry and other experts to train motivated students and get them job.
• The centre liaisons with the prospective hiring organizations tills the actual placement takes place. It negotiates on behalf of the prospective employee with industry for the best terms and conditions.
• Maintaining database of students to refer them for suitable job vacancies. Conducting campus interviews for reputable and professional organizations.
• EESCOE&T established a Carrier Counselling Cell to guide our students for various carrier challenges and for the higher education and competitive exams, creating platform for budding entrepreneurs, bringing awareness about various career options through counselling.
